I’m Jackson Miller: Chicago native, boxer, and professional athlete.
Football didn’t interest me in high school. Not the way it interested my friends.
I wanted nothing more than to get in the ring.
It was the next step after a mixed profile of athletic activities (swimming, track, karate, etc.), and iboxing offered this adrenaline kick that you just don’t get with other sports.
My father watches boxing matches all the time. He was a huge fan of Julio Cesar Chavez, Riddick Bowe, Frankie Randall, Frank Bruno, and of course Mike Tyson.
I sat there and watched matches with him. He was a fit guy, always doing what we could to stay active between hunting, hiking, and deep sea fishing.
Today, I teach boxing classes to two different studios in Chicago, and continue to compete when and where I can.
However, I can’t deny that I’m starting to get a bit old for boxing, which is why I’ve shifted over to teaching from my decades of experience.
That’s where you come in. You’re interested in this world, otherwise you wouldn’t be here. Let me quite literally show you the ropes.
Let me show you the gear, the myths, the ins and outs of every type of boxing method that I know of.
I’m offering you a free resource that’s constantly expanding, one you can use to hone your skills, understand the differences between different pieces of gear, and build on your boxing knowledge before you step in the ring. It’s time to make it happen.
